05. Are pets allowed?
We love pets and welcome one dog per cottage in our Treehouse and Highland cottages only. Dogs must remain leashed while exploring the property and are not permitted in the wellness facilities, including the sauna, plunge pool, or hot tubs. A $275 pet fee applies. Dogs are also not permitted to be left unattended in the cottages.
06. Are children allowed?
Isle Hill is designed as an adult-focused sanctuary for relaxation, rest, and reconnection. Guests under 18 years old are not permitted when cottages are reserved individually. Children are welcome with a full-property buyout; however, our spaces are not childproof, and children must be supervised at all times, particularly around sleeping lofts, the plunge pool, hot tubs, and wellness facilities.
Guests planning a family getaway may also wish to consider our sister property, The Asher, a family-friendly retreat on Lake Michigan in Central Wisconsin.
07. Do you permit weddings?
Isle Hill welcomes intimate weddings and events of up to 20 guests with a full-property buyout. All events must be approved in advance and are subject to additional event fees depending on the size and scope of the event. Please contact us to begin planning a thoughtful and memorable celebration.
08. Are the wellness facilities shared?
Isle Hill offers a balance of communal and private wellness spaces. The four-season plunge pool, sauna, and movement studio are shared exclusively among guests, while each cottage features its own restorative amenities, such as private hot tubs, outdoor showers, or soaking tubs. Private massage and body treatments may also be arranged in advance.
09. What type of coffee is provided?
Each cottage is stocked with locally roasted coffee and everything needed for a slow morning in. Additional beverages and provisions may be available through the Isle Hill Mercantile.
10. What cooking supplies are provided?
Every cottage includes a thoughtfully equipped small but gourmet kitchen with cookware, bakeware, utensils, glassware, and serving pieces, along with essential pantry staples such as olive oil, cracked pepper and sea salt. Specific amenities vary slightly by cottage.
11. Do you offer food or dining on the property?
While Isle Hill does not have a restaurant, we include a locally sourced breakfast basket on the first night of every stay. Chef-made gourmet meals may be arranged in advance, and our provisions store offers a small curated selection of pantry staples, snacks, beverages, and regional goods. Each cottage also includes a thoughtfully equipped kitchen for preparing meals.
12. Will there be staff on the property during my stay?
Isle Hill offers convenient self-service check-in and is designed to provide a private, independent experience. Our property manager is available if you need assistance, and our guest-services concierge is available via email or on-site during the week to help with provisions, amenities, wellness appointments, and local recommendations.
13. May outside visitors join me during my stay?
To preserve Isle Hill's intimate, relaxing atmosphere, the property and its amenities are reserved exclusively for registered overnight guests. For pre-approved events, outside guests may be permitted in accordance with established limits and guidelines regarding parking, noise, and use of the property.
